Work We Have Done:

Teaching drop outs and non working people to lay blocks for house construction. This gives them the ability to build their own homes and to earn some income by helping other villagers build houses.

A self-help program for women to learn dress-making. It started with the purchase of 4 sewing machines and 3 rolls of material, and has expanded to a permanent instructor teaching 25 students. The program includes a revolving loan fund for members.

Distribution of material assistance to schools, including shoes.

Teaching how to construct wood conserving stoves. One piece of wood can heat 2 pots at once.

HIV/AIDS classes. Many older women have contracted AIDS from helping their children who had AIDS.
